Welcome to my little corner of the internet, where I’m hoping you’ll join me on a journey. I’m seeking my own simplicity in life, and I want to share with others when I find resources that work for me.
I work in the hamster wheel of corporate America, and I struggle to keep up with that and all the obligations at home. But the search for work-life balance feels increasingly complicated and time-consuming. So I’m in search of simplicity that works for real life, where lots of obligations still have to be met.
You’re here, in my first post on this blog, and you may wonder what content you’ll find here in the future. Well, I’m not sure! I have in mind what I plan to write about, post, and seek out, but as with anything, those plans could change.
But if you’re anything like me, you see the ideals promoted on social media, and none of them seem possible to live up to. Whether it’s someone living in the world of corporate America, posting work-related content and showing all their focus on that side of life and how to climb the corporate ladder, or if it’s an account focused on the home front – homesteading, making cleaning or organization videos, or similar, none of these are the middle ground that most of us spend our days in, so this blog and the content that go along with it are for that – the middle!
